Before I post on freecyle...

Trav is bored so we're playing the gotta-clean-up-the-basement-RIGHT-NOW game.

We have a bunch of stuff that I'm going to try to unload on Freecyle, but I thought I'd ask here first.

We have old windows aplenty. The larger one are ideal for cold frames, if anyone wants to follow The Big Sexy's lead and live an organic lifestyle.

We have old window weights that probably have some use, but other than scrap metal, I don't know what that might be.

We have old iron bars that used to grace the front windows of the house.

We have a double bed frame and a double maple head and foot board.

We have a small deep fryer that I consider more trouble than it's worth.

We have the original light fixture from the dining room, circa 1913.

We have old solid wood doors.

We probably have some other <s>junk</s> priceless stuff, too. If we come across anything of interest, I'll post it here first.

My wife is not being completely truthful.

We are not cleaning up the basement, we are gutting the basement so I can knock off all the lose mortar from the walls; apply new mortar and paint with dry lock.

Today I spent 6 hours with a hammer and pry bar dismantling two ?rooms? built out of tongue and grove boards, real 2 x 4 hardwood studs and all the fucking nails made in 1911.

GL, your little room is no more.
